As part of our English work hooking with the text The story of Pirate Tom, we created movements to show key vocabulary from the story. We all thoroughly enjoyed this and brought words to life!

We absolutely loved sharing our learning today with family members. Thank you to everyone who could attend. We shared our work, tasted curry we’d made and took family members on a wonderful adventure through the wardrobe doors into a world of imagination – our new library. The event was finished off with some Christmas carol singing. A great time had by all ??

We all thoroughly enjoyed expressing our creativity this week by creating an amazing web after being inspired by the story ‘The Spider Weaver’. This involved lots of different skills including mark making, sketching , observational drawings, olour mixing, printing, sewing and layering.
