Wow! Only 1 week to go…

What a wonderful year we’ve had with the children.

The children wrapped up their history learning linked to our Wonderful Women topic, finishing the week with their stunning Frida Kahlo-inspired artwork, beautifully decorated with 3D flowers — a colourful and creative highlight!

A huge thank you to all the families who attended our Wonderful Women exhibition on Friday. The children were absolutely thrilled to showcase their classwork alongside the amazing research and home projects they created with your support. It was a truly special celebration of their learning.

In English, the children completed their thoughtful and imaginative “Instructions for… A Recipe for Friendship.” Their creativity and growing confidence as writers have been wonderful to see. This week, we’ll be moving on to a “Recipe for Family” — we can’t wait to see what they come up with!

In Maths, we reviewed key learning from throughout the year, adding a fun twist with hands-on activities. The children used manipulatives to revisit and reinforce essential concepts like place value and addition/subtraction in an engaging and meaningful way.

We’re so proud of everything the children have achieved — and we’re looking forward to making the most of our final days together!
